TRANSITION FROM DISTRICT TO SUPERIOR COURT

This five-day practical skills course will offer a comprehensive overview of the skills needed and the tasks required of a prosecutor making the transition from District to Superior Court.  The course targets both prosecutors ready to take the plunge into Superior Court and those already involved in the process.  This course includes group activities, hands-on exercises and substantive presentations on topics such as time management, file screening, prepping cases and plea negotiations.

Rate:  $67.30+tax/night

Training will begin Monday morning, August 21 and conclude Friday afternoon, August 25.  If you will require accommodations, please call the Four Points by Sheraton and let them know you are with the NC Conference of District Attorneys August 2017 to make your reservations. 

Reimbursements: If you are in overnight status (you must live at least 35 miles away from the conference site), you may claim meals on your reimbursement form. If you are not in overnight status, you will not be reimbursed for anything other than mileage and daily parking.
