Prosecutors know there is more to mastering the Rules of Evidence than just learning the basics about hearsay and admitting tangible exhibits. This course provides in-depth training to help prosecutors develop their trial skills in this important area, with an emphasis on more complex evidence topics such as character and extrinsic evidence, video exhibits, “opening the door,” cell phone analysis, lay opinion, and confrontation clause issues. This program will include presentations that explore the rules and relevant case law prosecutors need to know in these areas, along with several hands-on and practical sessions to get ready to do it in court.
