This five-day practical skills course offers a comprehensive overview of the law, procedures, and real-world tips that prosecutors need to know as they make the transition from District Court to Superior Court. This course is primarily intended for prosecutors who are relatively new to Superior Court work, but it can benefit those who are already there. Offering a mix of both substantive presentations and hands-on exercises, this program covers key topics including charge screening, indictments, discovery, plea negotiations, case management, motions practice, sentencing, collateral consequences, and working with victims.
