Peg Dorer • Director

The director of the Conference is directly responsible to the 44 elected District Attorneys for the development of programs, materials and consensus building. Other responsibilities include oversight of all Conference activities, projects and programs and monitoring legislation.

Karen Wood • Deputy Director

This position is responsible for creating policies and procedures in relation to the administrative function of the Conference of District Attorneys to include office, budget, and training administration. Karen is responsible for grant procurement, budget and project management, and identification. Furthermore, she assists the Director of the Conference of District Attorneys by providing requested research regarding fiscal information related to proposed legislation and media inquires.

Kimberly Overton • Chief Resource Prosecutor

This position is responsible for addressing the training needs of prosecutors,support staff and law enforcement. Kimberly's responsibilities include identification of training topics, curriculum development and implementation. She provides technical assistance to prosecutors and law enforcement and assists the Resource Prosecutors in program development. Additionally, she assists the Director of the Conference of District Attorney's with Conference activities, projects and programs and at her requests researches legislation.

Chadwick Dixon • Web/Publications Specialist

This position manages the Conference website, as well as the websites of the 44 Elected District Attorneys. Chad manages the content of the websites, design and layout, and keeps all sites current with the latest information and technology. He performs graphic design services for a variety of projects. Designs presentations and newsletters for the Conference of District Attorneys. Coordinates, develops, edits and produces information materials, and publications for use by law enforcement and prosecutors across the state. He tracks all supply and equipment purchases in accordance with office policy.

Erica Quillet • Program Coordinator

This position provides administrative and meeting planning support for the Conference of District Attorneys. Administrative activities and responsibilities may include: greeting guests, answering the phone, maintaining mail lists, and tracking travel reimbursement requests. This person will plan meetings and make arrangements for training conferences which may include: hotel contracts, audio visual arrangements, travel arrangements, food and beverage, registration, preparing handouts, etc. and other administrative/secretarial duties as needed.

Amber Lueken Barwick • Violence Against Women Resource Prosecutor

The Violence Against Women Resource Prosecutor is responsible for developing training curricula for prosecutors in the areas of domestic violence and sexual assault. In addition, Amber will be available to provide technical assistance to prosecutors facing the difficult issues surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault cases.

Mary Hill • Violence Against Women Assistant Meeting Planner

This position provides administrative support to the Violence Against Women Resource Prosecutor. She is responsible for planning all Violence Against Women training including hotel sites and contracts, speaker travel, food and beverage, and handout preparation. Furthermore, this position handles the dissemination of all registration materials and registration for district attorney staff, law enforcement and other allied criminal justice professionals for each Violence Against Women training. Mary also carries out administrative/secretarial duties as needed.

Sarah Garner • Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor

The Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor was created to address traffic safety problems both in and out of the courtroom. Sarah serves as a resource for all prosecutors throughout the state regarding Traffic Safety issues. In addition, she helps identify traffic safety training opportunities and assists the Chief Resource Prosecutor in implementing that training.

Sara Phillips • Traffic Safety Resource Legal Assistant

The Traffic Safety Legal Assistant provides assistance to the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor by preparing for trainings, providing technical assistance, and performing legal research. Sara is also available to assist with any questions regarding upcoming trainings and serves as an avenue to provide information to the TSRP. In addition, Sara manages the traffic safety grant for the Conference.

Megan Lively • Resource Victim Witness Legal Assistant

The Resource Victim Witness Legal Assistant provides critical support to enhance the capability of the State’s victim witness legal assistants to effectively assist victims of crime. Megan will serve as a central resource for violence against women victims and victim related agencies.  In addition, Megan is available to provide technical assistance to VWLA’s, law enforcement, and other allied professionals.  She identifies, develops, and implements training for the District Attorney Administrative Professionals.

Damie Sesay • Child Trafficking Resource Prosecutor

The Child Trafficking Resource Prosecutor is responsible for developing and implementing training curricula for prosecutors in the areas of child human trafficking. Damie will provide outreach to the Department of Public Instruction and school-based attorneys to develop curricula on awareness and response to child abuse. Also, Damie will provide outreach to the hotel industry to assist with the identification, appropriate response and reporting of child trafficking. In addition, she is available to provide technical assistance to prosecutors and law enforcement facing the difficult issues surrounding child trafficking cases.

Jessica Macari • Staff Attorney, Best Practices

This position serves in a resource capacity to the Conference’s Best Practices Committee. She identifies and researches topics for committee discussion, plans and schedules meetings, and collaborates with other agencies and organizations on local and national levels to further the development, sustainability and improvement of the best practices effort

White Collar Crime Resource Prosecutor

The White Collar Crime Resource Prosecutor (WCCRP) is responsible for the development and implementation of the Financial Crimes Program. In addition to handling financial crimes, the WCCRP develops and implements training for prosecutors, law enforcement and other allied professionals in the identification, investigation and prosecution of financial crimes. The WCCRP also provides technical assistance and other resources to assist with the challenges they encounter when handling a complex financial crime cases.

Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor

The Child Abuse Resource Prosecutor serves in a resource capacity to assist prosecutors across the state by providing training in the prosecution of cases involving the physical abuse and neglect of children as well as the sexual abuse of children.  In addition, she serves as a resource to law enforcement, social services workers, and other allied professionals.  Further, she identifies training needs and develops curricula in those areas.
